Update from the
Pastoral Search Committee
The Pastoral Search Committee is very excited about all the work that is being
done to update the Church’s website! We all owe Jerry Alonzy a debt of gratitude
for coming to the rescue and doing a great job.
The new website will make a
great introduction to our church for both prospective pastors and new members as
well. We are hopeful that all church committees and organizations will submit
material and photos for the revised site.
We have continued to meet weekly through the summer and have made some
accomplishments. Our Church Profile is nearing completion and has been reviewed
by the Church Council. As you read this the finishing touches should be
complete. Our next step is to submit the profile to the UCC office along with a
short ad that announces our open pastoral position.
This means that the search committee will start reviewing Pastoral Profiles very
soon. We are all encouraged and excited about reaching this new milestone.
Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we embark on the next
very important step in our pastoral search process.
